Job Description

Top Quality & Regulatory Guru

You’re stuck in a role where you’re bored to death. There is very little change. The company is not innovative and growing? The Quality or Regulatory role has become maintenance oriented. The CEO doesn’t care, or gives lip service to compliance, continuous improvement, and strategic initiatives.

You crave an opportunity where you can make a tremendous impact as a member of the executive team. You want to work in an organization that cares deeply about their customer – but they need someone of your caliber to help guide them. You want to be in a role that moves the total quality and regulatory affairs function out of the administrative world into a strategic role model.

For nearly 20 years Rhythmlink International, has set the bar for our industry.  Our growth has been explosive, and our success has been unparalleled!  We are ready to add a Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs to our team who is driven, motivated by challenge, and wants to make a real difference!

Our employees are our number one asset and that’s our culture!  We have been named to South Carolina’s Best Places to Work every year for almost ten consecutive years.  In addition to an outstanding health benefits package, we offer workplace health and fitness, regular company-provided lunch for employees, a generous PTO program, company-match retirement savings, and a culture that promotes teamwork, dedication, achievement, and growth.

You will quickly become an essential member of our leadership team and, among the various critical activities, you will use your knowledge and understanding of QMS and UDI requirements to:

– Result in zero (0) major findings in MDSAP/ISO 13485 audits
– Maintain 100% compliance with all medical device regulations including FDA, sterilization, RoHS, and Reach within your first 3 years!
– Support international expansion

One year from today, you’ll be the hero in our company by maintaining excellence in our company’s quality management systems and regulatory compliance while positioning the company to grow organically, add new products, create a strategic international footprint, and by acquisitions. You’ll help us shift our Total Quality system from a compliance function to a strategic advantage.

If you’re up for a very high challenge of change and transformation at a strategic level, then send us a resume along with a couple of examples where you’ve made dramatic changes and implemented significant initiatives in environments that have recognized the importance of a well-run quality program and regulatory function – and direct correlation to customer engagement and satisfaction.
