Location: Columbia, SC/ Remote 19 Technology Circle, Columbia SC 29205
Qualification: Current undergraduate or graduate student. Recently graduated individuals may also apply.
$2000 Summer Internship: This summer internship will provide a $2000 stipend over May – August. There is the possibility to extend to a fall internship.
Commitment: 10 – 20 hrs/week Office Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 6 pm. You must be available for a minimum of 10 hrs per week during the office hours in Columbia, SC. Working hours will not exceed 20 per week.
This role reports to the Brand Manager and will be a vital member of the sales and marketing team. Primary duties include pitching creative content ideas for digital marketing that drive impressions and engagement to supply to sales funnel with leads. Ideally this person will have experience designing campaigns and monitoring the success. This person will also help maintain creative assets and work on other design projects as needed. There is some flexibility to do some of the tasks from home, but the person will need to be available to come into the office for ongoing training.
Creative Content Marketing Responsibilities:
Pitch Content Marketing ideas that create brand awareness, build credibility and trust and educate target audiences. Create content that drives attendance to events.
Execute on winning content marketing ideas and report on results. Includes research, copy writing, graphic design or other visual communication etc.
Help maintain digital marketing, social media and website
Write, edit & send press releases as needed and prepare quarterly email newsletter
Maintain all creative media assets
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Mainly Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience with Aftereffects or Premier Pro a huge plus!
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in WordPress Content Management System
Time management and project management
Preferred Experience but not required:
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Sales Professional
Experience using Hubspot
Experience using Constant Contact or other email marketing software
Experience using Google Analytics – bonus if you have taken the introductory academy courses
Current students may be eligible to receive course credit for this internship.
