Job Description

The Director of Marketing develops and implements a successful vision of the US marketing strategies aligned with Global Marketing and Product Management. This role leads marketing activities such as product and brand campaigns, public relations, brand management, positioning and tools development, both internal and external. This individual also leads portfolio management activities related to new and current products, gap identification, product development, and 3rd party product sourcing, to meet the organization’s long term financial goals.

How you will impact Belimed and our clients

  • Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
  • Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail
  • Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
  • Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends
  • Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets
  • Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Controls budgets and allocates resources
  • Establishes vendor relationships to provide products and services to support strategy
  • Leads marketing team to deliver success with projects, strong mentorship, and career progression strategies
  • Contribute to the strategic goals of Belimed as an active member of the US Executive Team

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration or equivalent number of years of experience
  • Five years of related experience with progressive responsibilities to include demonstrated success leading and developing a team
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data and problem solve effectively
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes as they relate to strategic initiatives
  • Evidence of building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external customers

An outstanding candidate may also have:

  • At least three years of experience leading a team
  • Experience working in ISO certified or regulated industry (medical devices preferred)
  • Experience working in the capital equipment industry (medical devices preferred)
  • Experience working in SalesForce (CRM)
  • Membership in an industry-related organization
