Job Description

The Planning & Design Manager supports Belimed customers throughout the project life-cycle with technical product and planning expertise on new construction and renovation projects. This role is responsible for instilling absolute customer confidence in the development and implementation of Belimed’s proposed solution. How you will impact Belimed and our clients

  • Designs and develops layouts of Sterile Processing and Operating Room environments to incorporate Belimed equipment. Employs knowledge of best practices to ensure effective work flows.
  • Develops and maintains an expertise related to the Sterile Processing industry and Belimed products and utilizes this expertise to support the Belimed Sales Team as primary technical consultant
  • Utilizes analytical planning tools to complete sizing studies and capacity analysis. Ensures that proposed solutions meet customer needs Employs 3D models and workflow simulation to create and present solutions.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with architects, equipment planners, and engineering consultants. Supports these groups as an industry and product expert through-out project planning efforts
  • Attends project and construction planning meetings. Interfaces with architects, engineers, equipment planners, and contractors to ensure that Belimed products are seamlessly incorporated into designs and installed properly
  • Participates in critical sales activities including presentations, RFP responses, and site visits
  • Participates in territory sales reviews including projects analysis, lead and pipeline analysis, and win/loss analysis
  • Interfaces with Belimed US to promote process improvement and to relay critical knowledge learned in field activitiesThe ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture or other related field
  • Ability to use AutoCAD and Revit
  • Experience in design, construction and/or engineering
  • Excellent presentation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • Ability to travel up to 75% nationally (we don’t anticipate this being 75% consistently, but during peak times it may require that level of travel) – primarily in the continental US
  • Willingness to create and lead presentations for current and potential customers
